Sorolla Centenary

Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida is one of the great masters of Spanish painting of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was the Spanish artist who achieved the most significant international renown in his time and one of the key figures in the entire history of Spanish art. The year 2023 marks the centenary of his death and throughout the year the Museum is planning and organising numerous exhibitions, publications and other activities which pay tribute to the painter and his career.
